Any time you are providing personal information on your computer, the following steps should be taken to ensure the safety of your information. These easy steps will ensure your information stays secure.

1. Check your browser's address to ensure you are at the right address - in this case the address is as follows - https://getipass.com/ipass-assist#applyToday

2. Make sure there is an https:// preceding the address OR a picture of a padlock is present.

3. Make sure your browser is current and your computer has an up-to-date antivirus.

Further, the Illinois Tollway will never ask you to provide your social security number via phone, email or text. If you receive any phone calls, emails or texts requesting your social security number, please do not provide that information and provide that information to the Illinois Tollway for investigation.
